There are many short-term course available in institutes but they are categorised which are software specific such as:
*GWD-(Illustrator, Coral Draw, Photoshop, Dreamweaver)
i.e; if u want to be a Graphic Designer:)
*AAIP-(mostly includes above software+ including Flash, Sound Forge, Premiere Pro, Toon Boom Studio,etc. + 3D software such as Max n Maya i.e; u'll get more option for your job!: 2D animators, Web designers, A/V Editors, Graphic Designer!
Course fees are mostly around 50k-90k(GWD), 80k-1.25lac(AAIP)
but it totally depends on the number of softwares they will teach (you can also opt according to your choice and interest! ask them;?) I have given a rough estimate of course fee and it varies from centre to centre; kindly do an enquiry by contacting them.In Animation what I have seen is there are no limits on how much you can grab! so in my opinion you should first see in which field you have your interest and then further enquire in ur nearest centre.
