Admission Process
Candidates need to apply online for the MBA admission. The online application form is available at www.thapar.edu
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their CAT/ NMAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ TU entrance examination scores.
Final selection will be based on CAT/ NMAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ TU entrance exam, Group Discussion and performance in Personal Interview.

IBS have most of the academics including BBA,Law,Engineering etc.IBS is mostly preferred for MBA but it doesn't mean other courses offered by college are bad.

You can go for Amity university, Lovely Professional University, Sharda University as they provide good placements and check also their scholarship programme, after certain qualifying exam you may get scholarships. After the completion of your degree in Computer Science Engineering, you can work in the field of database management, embedded systems, IT, telecommunication, multimedia, computer hardware and software implementation, computer hardware & software maintenance, gaming, web designing and other related industries.

For the lower NITs core branches like mechanical, civil you need to score in between 140-160. And for the branches like CSE you need to score in between 160-180. and for the average NITs core branches you need to score 200-220.

Cet rank of 5000 to 13000 can be good ,as cutoff is nearly 8000.

The teaching here is good. The professors have a lot of knowledge regarding their subjects. You get to implement whatever you study in the labs which are properly kept. The department offers projects under various professors so you get practical experience and also there are clubs related to the department that aim on building RC planes for competitions. There are a lot of opportunities for students who are interested.

If such an eventuality arises, keep some other idea in mind. It is just to establish in the interview that you have ideas and that you are not idle. Take up some essential skill and exhaust it in the gap period. Don't project an idea that you are not being useful.

Hello Jainy, you can go for diploma in event management which is a 6 month course.

There are very less chance to get nits at this score. You can apply in other top institutes . because many institute take admission through jee main score.
