Depends on which branch you want and your category. If you are from general category then I don't think you will get either of CS,Mechanical or Electrical. It depends on what rank you get in rank lost prepared by Maharashtra government. Generally the cutoff ranks for CS, Electrical and Mechanical at MIT are below 3000.

You can become it by taking any branch such as, aeronautical, CSE, mechanical, electronics, etc. For this, you must do undergraduate and post-graduation programme in your field then try to qualify for ISRO exam. Every year, ISRO recruits the engineers who have completed undergraduate or both. You must score in that exam very good marks so that you are call for interview. It don't take time for become a scientist.

CA course deals greatly in Accounting, Taxation, Finance etc. Economics is nowhere a core subject except in Common Proficiency Test, thus it would lead to adding more pressure for you if you are planning for Eco (H) along with CA.
