There is no specific cut off rank which we could provide you for admission in Government colleges, but the higher the rank the better it would be. May be a rank upto 700 may get some best of the colleges.

Mridula, Plz set the goal which is realistic and attainable. You are a graduate in botany and want to become a software tester. Both fields are as different as chalk and cheese. Plz choose a course/career in which you have skills then going for something totally different.
