Anuj make your studies focused on clearing the basic fundamentals in your mind and try to enhance your ability to apply those fundamentals correctly where-ever required in the problems that you solve while studying your subjects. Try to solve more & more problems, try to answer more & more questions and that too in writing. Take a mock test of yourself or else ask one of your friends to ask you questions. Join a coaching institute if you can. Study as much as possible and make a study schedule for yourself. And yes, rest in between is absolutely necessary to refresh your mind.

Hi Varun
It will be unfair if I advise CS is better than Mechanical or vice versa but the matter of fact is both have a very good exposure in future in order to career.
But I would suggest to go for CS since I have been IT industry for 12 years and pursuing computer science is sightly a better choice.
I know many people who passed ME but later joined IT.

Hey Satyam,
Definitely, you will get a seat in UPES. Kindly wait for the counselling and choose from the programmes being offered to you. See you got 4512 rank, right? So, it doesn't mean that all aspirants who has a rank below 4512 will join UPES only, they may have taken different engineering exams and they may have got a chance in other colleges. So, probably you will get a seat, do not worry.

See its depend on your interest. If you have an interest in mechanical then it will be more beneficial for you but from a job point of view, electrical have more jobs opportunity with respect to mechanical. You can decide better what you like. One more thing electrical has a very vast and tough syllabus as compared to mechanical.
