There is no Diploma course in ME that is a year long only. The course is 3 years long if you take admission on the 10th basis and 2 years long on 12th basis. PG Diplomas can be a year long for particular subjects.

Eligibility criteria for BCA:
Candidates must have a minimum of 50% (45% for
SC/ST/PwD) marks in Class X.
Candidates must have passed Class XII/equivalent qualifying examination with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwD) marks with English and Mathematics / Computer Science / Information Practice/information technology as subjects in the qualifying examination. There are no separate courses for B.Sc (maths). An integrated M.Sc in Mathematics and Computing is offered. If a student exits this programme after 3 years then he is conferred B.Sc degree. DU is the best choice since it is a govt university. Otherwise, Jindal School is also nice. It is really good if you get in DU since the cut-offs are very high.

For CSE , you need atleast 200 marks ( in general ) . The last year cutoff for CSE in MANIT bhopal was this 198 around for B.tech . Moreover , as you increase the marks , you can then get MVNIT and VSNIT , then NIT durgapur and Jamshedpur . Around 220 marks will get you in MVNIT in Jaipur . Best of luck.
