Hello Omer,
There is no quota for minorities. However institutions formed under minorities act are allowed to enroll 50% students from their community. Your JEE Mains rank is a bit low but I feel you have great chance of getting admission in MJ Engineering College.

Hi,
Your grades are quite good, there could be a chance. It's difficult to say since profiles are evaluated on a case by case basis and scholarships are awarded on merit. Apply early, check the deadlines and apply by the first rounds to have a good chance for the scholarship. Read the application form online carefully, many universities will ask you for scholarship consideration.

No not at all. Stay away from this college. I enrolled to this college. They fooled us so bad. Firstly, they fooled us by changing the name of the institution. On the Orientation day we were informed that the college name is Dr. Kariappa School of Art and Design management. There is no permanency of lecturers in this institution. Also, there is no intimation of exam schedules in time. First semester started in beginning of August. Till january we didn't have any information regarding when is this semester going to end. Hi,
Candidates are selected on the basis of marks secured in the entrance test conducted by the university. Candidate should have completed his/ger graduation and a Bachelor's degree in any discipline obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA of any of the universities.

No, the Central Universities those are involved in a combined entrance exam follows a common counselling process too. So, its sad to hear but you can't get into this year. You may try next year with proper planning so that you can't miss the exam.
