Monika, forget the gap and begin fresh. Make a new CV, Exhibit your skills. Mention in your CV the right reason for the gap. Prepare yourself to face the interviews. Circulate your CV to the placement agencies. If there are suitable business houses in your city try to contact their Personnel or HRD deptt by speaking to them about the possible vacancy and how you can fit into that organization. Good luck.
