Don't get confused. Maths is required for getting admitted in NMIMS Mumbai. NPAT entrance test is required for getting into BBA B.Com Economics (H) and BBA LL.B. * I know this because even I was NOT able to give exam as I didn't have Maths in 12th. * So, have Maths either as additional subject (6th) or optional subject (5th). You can surely opt for this branch. Just make sure that you get interest in studying engineering. Because, as you want to do UPSC ultimately, you might ignore engineering studies. Engineering will certainly help you in one or the other way when you'll become an IAS officer.

Mass communication and design, both are very diverse courses. The short-term courses related to this field are specific to the sub-streams. For example, there will be a different course for fashion, interiors, jewellery design and so on. Yes, there is B.Tech lateral entry for mechanical engineering students too. Here, you get direct admission to 2nd year of B.Tech if you are a Diploma holder in engineering.

There are a lot of chances that you can get a seat in JNTU for MBA.

If you want to do UG program from Canada, you need an overall 6 band and each component with 5.5 band in IELTS. For PG, you need 6.5 band overall and 6 band in each component, less than this, you will not get admission. If you are looking for UG then you can apply to Sherdian or centinneial colleges

Diploma in Tourism & Travel Management: Eligibility. Candidate must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent level examination with at least 50% (40% to 45% for reserved category candidates) of the marks at 10+2 or equivalent level from a recognized state or central board.

College change or university change is possible only after the first year and is completely dependent on the college and university norms, some universities allow it and some won't, plus you need to have good scores in the first year to apply for the same.
