Hi Nagmani,
You can definitely write SET exams of other states. These exams are for admission in the colleges present in that specific state and although have some reserved seats for the domicile, but do not prohibit the students of other states from appearing in their exams.

It does not depend on the branch. Rather, it depends on the set of skills which the individual possess. One BM branch individual can even be ahead of CSE individual so opt for the branch you like. Good luck.

Talking about Placements, it almost move parallel, whether it is AKGEC or KIET irrespective of the branch specified. Now coming to faculty, I think AKGEC is better in that sector, as it has well qualified teachers and whose teaching usually attract attention of students. In additional, I just want to add that CSE provides you more exposure in contrast with IT in your respective department. So, I will suggest you to go with KIET CSE.

You may opt for SAT Registration 2019 ( since you are in class 12 you can't appear in 2018) as per your convenience after fulfilling the SAT test eligibility 2019. It is an internationally recognized test administered by the College Board. It evaluates candidates' knowledge in reading, writing and quantitative aptitude in general and other specialized subjects. After that, your door to USA opens and you get an opportunity.
