Other living expenses at University of Sydney:

• Applicants can put aside AUD 80-150 per week for entertainment and socialising. 
• A weekly Grocery bill for one person is usually between AUD 80- AUD 28.
• However the university provides lunch on campus but is expensive, costing AUD 10-15 each. 
• Students have access to public transport with an Opal card. International students are currently not eligible for concession tickets. 

College of Engineering Trivandrum BTech admission is dependent on students' performance in KEAM, which is administered by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams (CEE).
Candidates for admission to the BArch programme must pass the NATA with a valid score.
Admission to COE Trivandrum M.Tech and MPlan programs is dependent on a valid GATE score.
Admission to the MCA programme is accomplished by the Kerala MCA entrance test, which is administered by CEE.
Candidates for the MBA programme are chosen based on their performance in the CAT/ CMAT/ KMAT. The admission test is subsequently followed by a GD and PI round at the institute level.
Admission to the MArch programme is determined on the candidate's performance in the previously qualifying degree test.

If seats remain empty owing to a shortage of applicants with valid national/state level entrance test scores, candidates from Kerala State interested in pursuing admission will be evaluated on a first come, first served basis.
The Directorate of Technical Education prepares a unified rank list to fill all seats under the Lateral Entry plan.

No, one can easily get admission to Trivandrum as the cutoff is very high for securing a seat in Trivandrum. The admission criteria are strictly based on the score of the LET, KEAM, CSAB, PMSS exam for Bachelor courses. For, master courses the admision is based on the score of CET-PG. For, MCA the exam taken by candidate is LBS-MCA and for MBA CAT, MAT, XMAT is taken  by the students. The candidates after giving the Exam need to check the merit list of the college and after clearing the exam the candidates are required to pay the counselling fees and then they are eligible for counselling. After, the counseling rounds candidates can secure their seats by paying the fees.

According to the NIRF report 2023, during the CET Trivandrum placement 2022, the average salary provided to MBA students was INR 4 LPA. During placement 2022, the College of Engineering Trivandrum noted that the employment rates for BArch and MArch students were 90% and 100%, respectively.According to a media source from 2023, 700 pupils were placed in total, with the maximum compensation being INR 34 LPA. Nearly 850 bids were made and over 190 firms visited. However, at CET Trivandrum placement 2022, 11 students received the highest package. The CTC for more than 300 students was INR 7 LPA. Over 200 PG students were placed in various companies. Many top companies visited the campus such as TATA Elxsi, IBS and Reliance BP.

The University of Sydney scholarships is available for Indian students, providing great financial assistance of up to AUD 40,000 for UG Courses specially designed for Indian citizens and residents who are international students but mainly Indian-originated. However, other scholarships for Indian and international students will assist students financially, up to AUD60,000 for PG courses. This scholarship aims to support the deserving individual with an unconditional admission offer to pursue a coursework degree. Below are the eligibility criteria for some of the courses offered by the college:

• B.Tech: Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
• B.Arch: Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
• M.Tech: Candidates must have completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university.
• MBA: Candidates must have completed a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.
• MCA: Candidates must have completed a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and secured a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.

Admissions to the College of Engineering, Trivandrum (CET) normally occur in accordance with the timetable and regulations established by the relevant authorities and the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) entrance examination.Typically, the formal KEAM announcement is made available around January or February.Usually, the KEAM application process begins in February and runs through March. Typically, the KEAM admission exam takes place in April.KEAM results are typically released in May.Not long after the results are out, in June or July, the counseling and seat assignment procedure usually gets underway.August or September marks the commencement of classes for the upcoming academic year.
