This course has been designed for those aspirants who are interested to pursue career in teaching and other related fields. For teaching in high schools and higher primary schools, B.Ed degree is must require in India. At present, the need for trained teachers is very high as lot of schools are building day-by-day. To become a successful professional in teaching field, one should has a minimum qualification in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). Previously the duration of B.Ed course was one year now it has been increased to two years. This course can be pursued as a full-time or through distance learning. Eligibility:
Students must have done BA (Bachelor of Arts), B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce), B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) or any other graduation level degree from any recognised university or college. Students should have obtained at least 50% marks in graduation level. You can also join B.Ed degree after pursuing a Masters degree. As being from GEM (GeneralEnggMale) candidate the chances of getting a call for above scores are highly impossible but scene changes from category to category. If belongs to SC the possibility are 5060% in case of new iims. If ST the possibility of getting IIM-A, C depends on candidates availability)y for that particular year. ( previous IIM-A intake has gone low to 38percentile)IIM-A admits ST students at 38 percentile CAT score
If PD (general) the case is same as ST but percentile required would be high say 9798percentile should make it. Most of new iims even set a min 60% in 12th now a days which makes your chances less. But 50% still don't set any 12th cut off. Note: Be it any IIM (Old 0r New), the performance at What/PI will be the deciding factor for shortlisting. Never loose hope but make sure that you have your best at AWT/PI in parallel with CAT. All The Best.

Following are the B.Sc. Psychology eligibility criteria for candidates to fulfill:In order to be eligible to apply for B.Sc. The college provides good infrastructure and facilities but poor administration.
Placements: Students are sent to places like NIMHANS Bangalore, Apollo, CINI, IOP, etc. , for internships. Students gain a lot of exposure and experience. Seniors are well settled after graduation. Some are doing M.Phil in good universities, and some have joined a job for teaching and continuing their research projects.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are quite comfortable. The library is quite satisfying having all books of different streams. There is a medical harbor on the campus. The quality of the food served in the canteen is average. Hostel rooms are clean. I am not facing any infrastructure related issues at the college.Faculty: Teachers in the college are well qualified from good institutions. Especially the teaching methods used are really appreciable. PPT presentations, poster presentations, assignments and a lot of practicals and activity work is done so that the subject doesn't become boring for the students to study. Internships are provided in different places and good experiences are gathered. The course curriculum is really useful for further studies and upcoming competitive exams.Other: There are a lot of scholarship availabilities. Fest is organised in the college every year. The campus is very beautiful and huge. There is good interaction between students and faculty members.

A short write-up called Statement of Purpose indicating the reason for interest in Psychology and in SVS, along with career aspirations, should be submitted. This is followed by a phone interview. Your statement of purpose should answer the following questions in a couple of paragraphs. What attracted you to psychology, where did you hear about it, what do you think is its value? You must have explored psychology programs at different places also. What do you find different in our programme that is different / interesting? What would you like to do after this programme?
