PGDBM = Post graduation diploma in business management
PGDBA = Post graduation diploma in business administration
PGDM = Post graduation diploma in management
MBA = Masters in Business Administration
MMS = Masters in Management Studies
All of this is equivalent to an MBA degree.
Indian degrees are follow the UGC format for course content and hence all Universities can give degrees, so they give a MBA degree, also known as MMS in Mumbai.
All reputed institutes on the other hand, design their own courses according to industry feedback to gain reputation and hence they are not under the UGC, which means they cannot offer degrees and hence they offer diplomas.
The difference between all these degrees is only for name sake. At the end of the day, institute reputation matters more than the name of the degree and so you can call it whatever you want, at the end of the day. its equivalent to good ol' MBA.

I would suggest you that while choosing your Electives you should always keep in mind your own Interests and career aspirations. Reason being, every individual is different and so is his Interests, circumstances, capabilities, and capacity to perform so, the elective which is good for one may not be good for the other person.
Moreover, your career progression would depend on how you perform on the program and the person excels only when he or she is confident about the specialisation he or she is doing.

As you are commerce Graduate there are several programs which you can opt for such as CA, CS, CWA CFA or MBA, MFA, M.Com. Now depending on your interest and career aspirations you can go for any of the above mentioned programs. Commerce Graduates can have a really bright future as finance and accounting is one field which is the base of any company or organization, no matter which ever route you opt for the thing which will matter the most is your own capabilities and the performance on the program and how you use the knowledge earned after the program so, keep these things in mind while choosing the program.
I would like to add here that MBA in finance would be the best out of the lot but only if you do it from a decent University and that too full time program. Otherwise go for Certifications like CA, CFA or CWA.
