PGDBM = Post graduation diploma in business management
PGDBA = Post graduation diploma in business administration
PGDM = Post graduation diploma in management
MBA = Masters in Business Administration
MMS = Masters in Management Studies
All of this is equivalent to an MBA degree.
Indian degrees are follow the UGC format for course content and hence all Universities can give degrees, so they give a MBA degree, also known as MMS in Mumbai.

I would suggest you that while choosing your Electives you should always keep in mind your own Interests and career aspirations. Reason being, every individual is different and so is his Interests, circumstances, capabilities, and capacity to perform so, the elective which is good for one may not be good for the other person.
