Hi, can I know reason for studying PGD after you have MBA in Singapore? In Singapore if you go for any PGD courses which are either run in private Colleges or UK or Australian Universities campuses or registered programs, you know you are NOT eligible to work part time while studying in Singapore so your expenses of study, fee, living and food will be quite high as Singapore is not cheap city to live and no recovery of any money. I think after knowing your reasons to study in Singapore one can guide you further. Yes, you have huge fund for study than why you are not considering study in USA, or UK or Canada or New Zealand wherein you can work part time while study and try to recover your living expenses atleast. IAS, i.e. Indian Administrative Services are one of the services under the Indian Civil Services. To qualify the IAS, you require to write an qualify the Civil Services which is an exam of high competency. This exam is carried out in two phases - Preliminary and the Main Exam and the maximum age limit for this is 30years.

As for teh subjects are concerned, you need to prepare well enough for Genral knowledge and current affairs, along with this you may opt for a subject of your interest from the various choices offered like Political science, History, Management, Economics and many more.

While choosing the stream the only thing which you should keep in mind is your own Interests and career aspirations. As every individual is different so are his interests, capabilities and the capacity to perform. However if you compare the two Math Hons will have a broader subject base.

Whereas, Eco Hons will be more specific and would be completely related to Scope and Method of Economics; The Economic Problem: Scarcity and Choice; the question of What to Produce, How to Produce and How to Distribute Output; Science of Economics; The Basic Competitive Model; Prices, Property Rights and Profits etc.
