Depends on the way the course is designed. There are two kinds of programmes under Mass Communication. One is BA Communicative English which has journalism as a subject. But it is not a full length media course. The other type is the one at Amity,Noida or Nitte University, Mangalore which are full fledged media courses at the BA level. The second type is better for those who are focussed on a variety of media careers like PR, Advtg., Web Design, Journalism, Television, Radio, New Media, Online Journalism, Short film making etc. So choose a good A Grade university like Nitte or Amity or Osmania and please check out the fees. Don't overpay.
