I can totally understand your dilemma as I had gone through the same. Each and every profession is good if it interests you.
Thus, It would be right if you decide what you should do and what will be best for you because you are the right person to make that decision. We as experts, can only guide and assist you with the same.
A lot would depend on the branch that you wish to pursue for your engineering, as different branch have different scope.

If your question concerns your admission for your masters program then your 12th class score will not affect it but your graduation score will as for your masters you need to score at least 60% to get into a regular college.
