It's all relative. Depends what the people who got rank higher than yours want. But going as per last year results, you can get it you get a rank around 3k. Even if you score 4k, you might not get it in the first counseling round but it MIGHT get upgraded later. But it also depends whether there is a seat available or not and that depends whether some other guy in mechanical was upgraded to other branch. To be safe, target around 3k.

Sustainability Management is a new offering from XIMB-XUB. So it would be too early to comment on job prospects. But the general expectation is it would be on par with XIMB standards. The cutoff was 80%ile for non domicile candidates and 70%ile for domicile students. This year's cutoff can be expected to be on similar lines.

If you have plans for private practice or consultancy too or get empoyed as a company executive, it is a good idea to pursue CA/ICWA. You may top your self with some courses related to accounting software as well as banking and finance. Since you have an MBA, doing a PhD will be a good idea too.

(No. of people behind you)/ (Total No of Candidates Attempted) * 100
It will be difficult to tell your how much you should score to get 70 percentile as we are not sure that how many students attempted the IBSAT exam and how many people scored less t

Since you are doing your course in IEI Kolkotta let me presume that youy are doing an AMIE course. AMIE is a professional membership considered equivalent to B Tech in industry and is not considered as a correspondence degree programme. IEI through their local centres arrange coaching assistance for AMIE examinations. In case you are not satisfied with their services, you are free to join any other private institute offering coaching assistance by paying the requisite tuition fee. But a personal feeling is that IEI through their centres provide reasonably good aquality coaching.
