Yes, PGDM is good after pursuing B.Tech in mechanical engineering. You can go for PGDM in TQM, quality assurance, operations management, production management, etc. But, if you gain work experience and then join PGDM, it will give you more benefits in terms of salary and growth. You can also prepare for CAT and if you get a chance to get admission in reputed B-School then it's better to pursue PGDM.

Hi,
Admission procedures in both the countries are different. To pursue MS in USA you must take the GRE and TOEFL. For admissions in Germany GRE is not required but you can always opt to take the test. IELTS or TOEFL and German language knowledge is required. German universities require very high academic scores while in US they look for all-rounders.

You can start the preparation and finish the study material. It is best to study one subject and keep switching subjects every day. Then, you can move on to revise the important questions. This should not be tough, if you have prepared for CAT exam as well, as most of the material is much easier.
You can start giving mock exams, review your performance and revise the topics in which you do not perform well.

Indeed, the LM Thapar School of Management is a prudent decision. In fact, my buddy, who earned his MBA from Thapar University, is currently employed by an MNC with a competitive salary. His placement was handled directly by the college. Moreover, it is India's top business institution. They provide a wide range of electives, allowing students to create their own courses. The matching of students with the appropriate courses and locations is excellent. Thapar University has done an outstanding job placing its graduates in important MNCs as well as private and public sector organisations in recent years.
