Hi,
1) Only universities can offer Degree Programmes: In India only those institutes which are affiliated to a university can offer a degree. Institutes which are not affiliated to university are autonomous and can offer PG Diploma. However, some of these programmes are approved by regulatory bodies.

Well placements is a step by step process that undertakes various parameters before final recruitment of any candidate. Apart from academics, other factors like graduation, masters, extra-curricular activities, confidence, knowledge, leadership skills, communication technique, team spirit, interpersonal skills are also important.

Hi Amall,
Both the institutes are equally good in terms of Salary package, infrastructure etc. but as far as placements are concerned it would not completely be dependent on the institute but would largely depend on your own caliber, capacity to perform on the programme and how you use the knowledge earned at the time of placement interviews.
Talking about other factors such as Study material, Faculty, Market recognition, etc I would suggest that you should visit both the institutes once to get the first hand information through the current batch students and faculty members. This would help in taking a more informed decision.

Hi Gaurav,It is always advised to opt a stream depending on your area of interest rather than on basis of just a comparison that also made on behalf of others.
