The placements completely depends on the stuffs and the capability of the students, and last year 94% students got placed with an average package of 6.5 lacks. The student should have minimum of 50% marks in their career.

If you haven't got the sufficient rank in comedk, then you can try for management seats. You need a very high rank (within 2000 Max) to get computer science in BMS. Anything below that you may get other disciplines. The other option as I have mentioned is the management seats which is about 4.5lakh per year for computer science

It is an autonomous university. Such universities has its own norms and also government approval . Even IIM, JBIMS, NMIMS are autonomous universities .

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has discontinued recognition to all open and distance learning (ODL) courses of Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), beyond 2012-13.
The university has also been offering professional/technical programmes in violation of the norms of the concerned regulatory bodies and without their approval. To get a call from TSM, 70 percentile above score in cat is required. However, TSM also considers the scores of CMAT / MAT/TANCET scores. These exams are comparatively easier to score well.

They accept GMAT for Indian students as well. Since, CAT is administered only in India foreign nationals may find it difficult to come to India to write the CAT. Different business schools have different requirements. For example, IIM Bangalore do not actually accept CAT score but only GMAT or GRE irrespective of nationality. I will suggest you check also the websites of these business schools.
