Hello Aparna,
MBA through correspondence is valid, provided, it is the recognition and accreditation from UGC-DEC. NAAC and AICTE accreditation additionally also is good. Distance MBA is usually pursued by applicants already working and looking for an elevation within their organization. Be aware of diploma mills and do your research carefully prior enrolling. I will personally recommend you to opt for a full time MBA to reap the benefits and make use of the investment. However, the final decision is yours. All the best.

Guide-Level 12

Hello Tejas, the best way is by narrowing down your choice - check the amount of expenditure in each country and various universities and see which one fits your own budget. Check the admission requirements if it matches with your profile. These three countries are some of the best places for MBA so you must make a checklist and match those with your budget and requirements. Also remember that the duration of MBA programmes in USA is 2 years while in Australia and Canada you will find programmes lasting from 1 to 1.5 years, this will automatically lessen the budget. Keep referring to MBA world rankings such as Financial Times Ranking a

I don't think you will get interview call from any college with this score. 36 percentile means that of the 2 lakh students that appeared for CAT, your rank was around 1.28 lakh. I would suggest that you prepare for CAT once again and appear for it. And this time try to get better score. Also please keep in mind that if you want other institutes(apart from IIMs) to accept CAT score, you will need to apply for those colleges as well.

Hi Bhavik,
MICA has changed its pattern this year.So it does not consider CMAT. It considers CAT,XAT and GMAT scores only. You get an interview call depending on how you perform in MICAT. But you should have appeared for at least one of the three exams.Though your percentile in these exams is not a criteria for your admission.
I hope this gives you a clarity.
