Dear Priya, Yes, you can pursue Ph.D. programme after completing MBA in Finance. This is the best decision if you are looking for the teaching profession as by 2023 Ph.D. will be mandatory for the teaching profile. My friend is also doing Ph.D. in Management at LPU after his MBA programme. It is not difficult to get admission to Ph.D. if you are good at research work. To increase your chances to get admission to Ph.D. you should have a good academic record and the area of research you want to work in. There are many universities that offer the Ph.D. programme, LPU is one of the best universities to do a Ph.D. to enhance your knowledge in the research area. Let me share something about the Ph.D. programme at LPU. Eligibility: You should have a minimum of 55% marks in your master's degree in a relevant subject. After that, you have to qualify for the LPU NEST exam if you have not qualified for a national level test such as GATE UGC NET CSIR, GPAT etc. The entrance will have 70% weightage in selection. After that, you have to appear for an interview and qualify for the same and have 30% weightage for the final selection. You may avail of scholarships also on the basis of LPU NEST or National Level Test. There is a special scholarship for female students to pursue a full-time or part-time Ph.D. at LPU. The highlight of the programme is the Flexi-Course Work option specially designed to accommodate professionals wherein a student can choose the best-suited option to complete the course work. 4 days course work every month (Preferably every second week: Thu-Sun)
Note: LPU is not offering this option of coursework to agriculture students. Option 3

Bora don't go with which stream is better. Go with what you want do after studying B.Tech. You may take following considerations. If you like computer, want to build crazy application or something related to software go with Computer Science engineering. If you like playing with machines/motors or electricity go ahead with Mechanical engineering. Or Electrical engineering. If you are India, after studying Electronics and communication engineering most of the students gets job/work in IT companies. Only few percent gets chance in electronics companies. So I would suggest, better to study Computer Science engineering. If you want to sail through vast sea go with Marine engineering. If you have not decided what you want to do after B.Tech, sit for one or two days and decided what you want to do. If still confused, select any of the engineering mentioned in point # 1, 2 and 3 (Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics). Best of luck.
