One cannot match IITs and NITs with other colleges. Clearance of NATA will make you feel better. Besides there are colleges at state level both state owned and private. The career opportunities for these graduates are high at present. These graduates can work as independent professionals or can take up jobs in Government or private sectors. Teaching in this field is also another option for the pleasant career. Anyone who had successfully completed B.Arch can register with COA. This can be done through agencies like CPWD. UPSC organizes examinations for these registered candidates to recruit them in various departments. The architect must work according to the requirements of their clients. They take over the responsibility of planning, designing, and construction supervision of buildings. The different types of buildings include houses, landscapes, office buildings, etc. The architect must be an integration of artist, professional and businessman. If they are talented, experienced and hard working they can definitely target high positions in their career.

Its little bit difficult to say anythnig about VIT because last year around 4,720 students are offered admissions at VIT University ,Vellore and Chennai.
Out of this number, 3600 seats were offered to students at VIT Vellore and the remaining 1,120 at VIT Chennai but only the first 20,000 rank holders are called for counselling.
All major branches like CS, EC, EE are likely to close at 9,000 in main campus and 15,000 in chennai campus
