- Undergraduate degree in same or relevant discipline (60%-70% plus in degree)
- High scores in IELTS or TOEFL.
- Preferred TOEFL score- 90-100 plus.
- Preferred IELTS score- 6-7 bands plus.

Regarding preparation of CAT test I would suggest you to start with self-preparation and stick to it for few weeks and revise your class 10 and 12th maths (CBSE/ICSE if possible) to strengthen your basics.
After getting familiar with the basics then you may consider joining some good coaching institute in your city which offers quality coaching for CAT and various other management entrance tests.
After joining a coaching institute the number of hours that you are required to put in depends on your individual aptitude.
If you are currently pursuing graduation then for you minimum of 3-4 hours of self study apart from caching is a must.
You should regularly give mock test, based on your performance in mock tests you may know in area you are strong and in which areas you need more hard work.
After spending considerable time in preparation it would also be advisable for you to set a clear cut target about your aspirations, whether you are planning to take admission only in top 10 colleges or top 20 colleges or top 30 colleges.
The target must be realistic based on your self-analysis your preparation and your confidence in yourself.

I can totally understand your dilemma as I had gone through the same. But, to be honest, It would be right if you decide what you should do because you are the right person to make that decision. We as experts, can only guide and assist you with the same.
However, as you have completed your 10th and interested in knowing the options that one has after opting for Biology and IP. Well, with physics chemistry biology maths/ IP; you can opt for MBBS, Engineering, Law, Journalism, Management etc.
