Marine engineering is a division of engineering that deals with the nautical architecture and science. Marine engineering basically is meant for research conducted in oceans and coastal or inland waters connected to the sea.
Admission to most of the institutes is done via entrance exams. The basic eligibility for pursuing a Bachelors is 10+2 examination with science subject such as Physics, maths and chemistry. For IITs, It is mandatory to qualify in the Joint Entrance Examinations (J.E.E). The duration for this course is 4 years.

M.Sc.(Botany) is that branch of biology, which basically deals with the scientific study of plant life. Subjects studied under this degree are Biology, Biodiversity, Chemistry, Mathematics & Statistics, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Plant Physiology, Ecology, Genetics etc.
The duration of the course is two years, the minimum eligibility is graduation in science. However, the eligibility and the admission procedure may vary from institute to institute as many conduct entrance exams for admissions.

There are also some state and all India level entrance exams after clearing them you also have chance for good colleges.
Few of them are:
KARNATAKA CET(Only for Karnataka Students)
UPSEE,
CET,
COMEDK,
EAMCET( Only for Andhra Pradesh Students),
KEAM,
GPET,
etc.
Also, some engineering institutes conduct their own entrance examination for admission few of them are
