Diploma holders in Engineering from Polytechnics can seek lateral admission in Second years of engineering. However colleges offering lateral admission on BTech are limited and also number of seats available for lateral entry are less. If your aim is to do engineering graduation, it will be ideal to follow standard 10+2 route of education.
