Private colleges conducts their own entrance exams for admission and scholarship purpose. Hence it is better to participate in their entrance exams for availing the scholarship benefits. The top ranks holders of JEE Main and toppers of 10+2 exams are also eligible for getting the benefits of scholarship if they opted for admission there. The rank you obtained in JEE Main is not enough for getting admission in top private Universities. However you can get admission in low graded engineering colleges. Top Universities like Amity, LPU, Chandigarh University, SRM, VIT etc. Conducts their own entrance exams.

First, fill JoSAA application form and also the form of your state counselling. There are also some private colleges which offer admission through JEE Mains. You should also try some of the open private colleges which take the open test like VIT, SRM, BITS and UPES. You may also try f
