I think Banasthali admits students without any aptitude test. One only needs to have requisite eligibility for the course. Staying in the hostel though is compulsory. You may take criminal laws, Business's law, Constitutional law, taxation laws etc., wherein you have interest.

Your rank is good. Yes, you can go for phase-2 counselling. But Answer to this Question will be best given by VIT itself. Call on their helpline number. You will get contact details on their official website. Also, when you attend the counselling for the 1st phase on the 3rd day at VIT ask the officials there.
