RBI grade B exam is not as tough as CSE. However, RBI doesn't have its exclusive share of aspirants. All students trying for bank exams like IBPS, SBI PO will definitely attempt this exam. Very few UPSC aspirants will attempt this exam.

Yes, you can get decent branch in VITEE with this rank. You should go for counselling and see what they are offering but the fees there is very high and if they agree to give you a higher branch then they will demand more fees, so it only depends on how much you can pay. All the best.
