If you are very much sure to do MBA after your Bachelors you can opt for BBA as it is just like a mini MBA and would help you in understanding the management fundamentals in a much better manner. However, even after doing B.Com you can go ahead with MBA.

For MBA, 55% is a low score. So we can't give a generic answer as you will have to request the colleges to consider your application as a special case. If the college is impressed by your overall profile and achievements, you might get admission.

I think you should attend the counselling as manipal University has more reputation than SRM. Here you got a good rank too so you will get for first preference. But if location suits you SRM ktr than no need to think about it.
