Yes, you can opt for lateral entry in the 2nd Year, but it depends on your percentage or CGPA, etc. Some colleges organize entrance exam for lateral entry, some not. Also, if there are vacancies in that college or the college have different reserved seats for lateral entry. It depends on your percentage and also sometimes category. Choose wisely. Do your research about the colleges. See their cut-offs for the last year. From that, you will get an idea about which college you can get.
Good luck.

Hi Harshit,
I believe people like Harsha Bhogle are extremely rare (I.e. people who haven't played the game at First Class level or higher) and it's getting increasingly unlikely that you'll have a shot at that role unless you play the game professionally first. There's more former players becoming commentators and experts and they are far more likely to get the positions you're applying for.
But if you want to be a studio host for a sports / cricket show, you may have some luck. You do need ample cricketing knowledge, quite a lot of charm and charisma and the ability to host which, to be quite frank, is something that is more innate ev

You should have mentioned your rank and category.
If you belong to general or OBC category then there is no chance of any govt. college.
You can get any good private college through CSAB special round counselling.

In the education sector, Dayanand Sagar, Acharya Institute of Technology, C V Raman, LPU, and Techno India are performing well. I will provide the specifics of the EEE placements because I am an LPU alumnus. One of my buddies graduated from LPU with a B.Tech in EEE and was hired by Infineon with a good compensation package. For EEE/ECE students, LPU has a solid placement record. Every year, around 500 organizations, both national and global, come to LPU for job placement. BOSCH, Microsoft, Code Nation, Adobe, and others are just a handful of the companies that hire EEE/ECE students. LPU's highest package for the ECE programme is 31 LPA

Hello Chirag,
Yes, that is true that you need to have 75% in boards, but that is only the case with JEE Mains paper 2. All the JEE exams require a 75% in board exams for admission into NITs and the other colleges that come under JEE.
Even for JEE Mains paper 1 (B.Tech), you need to have 75% in HSC to get an NIT even if you have scored 300/360.
In case of NATA exam (National Aptitude Test in Architecture), it is enough to have 50% in mathematics and English. These are compulsory subjects and you should have passed the exam with 50%.

I think you should choose CSE in Jaypee Noida SEC 62. Manipal Jaipur is not as good as it's main campus. Jaypee is best private engineeing college in Noida. Placement is also very good there.
