Do not go for any specific book for mass communication. You can get the latest editions of general knowledge books to keep you update, but in my opinion, internet and newspapers are the best things to read. Read and read is the best option you have.
Mass comm entrances are tough at places. You need to update yourself with the current happenings of the entire world. This is a tough job though. Just go through all the updates and stuff like stories. Don't think that you are preparing for some heavy entrance exam.
I too have cracked my mass comm entrances in this way.

Sorry, you are just short by 13 marks in mathematics to get admission in DU. Otherwise you have scored decent marks in the rest of the subjects and would have easily made through the admission procedure. I think you should take a chance and apply for revaluation in Maths and hope for the best.
Good luck.

It depends on your interests and career plan. The options after B.Sc in Biotech would be to do your Master's degree and then do your doctoral studies if you wish to be in the area of Research or a job in academia. Some options are available for getting a job in the area of Production control or Quality Analyst in organizations such as Biocon, You should be really good with your basics on concepts such as Fermentation technology, Bio-remediation etc. However, its worthwhile doing your Masters and your doctoral studies Ph.D. and then trying for a job. What really matters is your interest and the career plan that you have planned for your
