Many good universities like LPU, Amity, MMU, etc., are offering various B.Sc courses. If we talk about LPU, it is one of the best universities in the country with 100% placement record. The university has been ranked really high by many external agencies. Apart from the rankings and placements, the university is having very good infrastructure and highly qualified faculty. The university sees to this that the students are able to do well in placement drives for which it provides extra inputs to the students. As is the tagline of the university "Transforming education" so they really have transformed it by offering scholarships to meritorious students thereby making quality education affordable to all. Hi Eva,In order to be eligible to teach students in Category I, Category II, Category III and Category IV classes, aspirants need to possess the minimum educational qualifications. K-TET 2018 Eligibility Criteria for Category I (Lower Primary Classes).
Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary or (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and two year Trained Teachers Certificate (TTC) [by whatever name known] conducted by Board of Examination, Government of Kerala or its equivalent.
Or,
Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002.
Or,
Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BE lEd).
Or,
Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education). K-TET 2018 Eligibility Criteria for Category II (Upper Primary Classes)
BA/B.Sc/B.Com and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/Trained Teachers Certificate (TTC) [by whatever name known] conducted by Board of Examination, government of Kerala or its equivalent.
Or,
BA/B.Sc/B.Com with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with NCTE (Recognition, Norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
Or,
Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (BElEd).
Or,
Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year BA/B.Sc. Ed or BA Ed or B.Sc. Ed. K-TET 2018 Eligibility Criteria for Category III (High School Classes).
Aspirants meet KTET eligibility criteria if they possess any of the below mentioned educational qualifications:
BA/B.Sc/B.Com with at least 45% marks and a B.Ed. Degree in the subject concerned (from any one of the Universities in Kerala or have acquired these qualifications from any other Universities recognised as equivalent thereto)
K-TET 2018 Eligibility Criteria for Category IV
Candidates who possess the required qualifications for the post of Language Teachers of Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit & Urdu (up to Upper Primary level), Specialist teachers & Physical Education teachers as mentioned in Chapter XXXI of KERALA EDUCATION ACT AND RULES are eligible to apply for K-TET- IV.
