That is actually an excellent planning. We have our own placement cell in Xavier's, giving job opportunities to people with flying marks.
You will have a good placement if you really work hard.

First of all, I want to tell you that for taking admission in a government college like IIT & NIT or State-funded university, you must have given Joint Entrance Exam. I hope this year you have already given this exam and got your result last month. So wait till the counselling round starts and apply for your choices. If you have not given JEE 2018, take JEE-2019.

Hi
NIT Rourkela is one of the most reputed colleges, not only in India but abroad too.
The minimum criteria to get admission, for general candidates to qualify for admissions to NITs/IIITs/GFTIs, they should have secured at least 75% marks in class 12th exam or be in the top 20 percentile in class 12th exam conducted by the respective boards.

You can't decide anything with your marks, you should know about your interest. And your interest should be your engineering branch although if you are pass with 50%+ then you can take admission in any branch of B.Tech but you have to approach private colleges so please choose wisely as per your interest.

With the predictor, it only not shows the last year stored data with the college seats but also shows you the related and the best-suited options with your other exams, letting you know about colleges beyond what you are expecting. Jadavpur University though accepts WBJEE and you need to be in top 500 to be able to get admission into it.
