MBA offers degree while PGDM is a Diploma course. Duration of both is 2 years. MBA is offered by institutes affiliated to a university, whereas PGDM is offered by autonomous institutes and is a bit expensive. In terms of career opportunities both are equally good and there is not much difference if MBA is pursued from a reputed university.
