The National Testing Agency will conduct the entrance exam for all papers in two shifts on all exam days. The shift timing for each paper will be mentioned on the admit card of candidates. The exam authority has informed two shift timings on the official website, as under:
Shift 1 - 10:00 A. M. to 12:00 Noon
Shift 2 - 03:00 P. M. to 5:00 P. M. It is highly possible that the exam authority will change/ add more shifts on the exam day, however, it will be informed to all registered candidates at least 5 days before the exam date. Candidates are required to reach the exam centre at least 2 hours before the exam timings on the exam day.

To get admission in IITs, any rank around 5000 AIR is safe. However, the rank for reserved category candidates will be higher (in the range of 10,000 to 15,000) for admission to the top IITs. To get a seat in top IIT for courses like CSE, getting a rank within the approximate range of 2000-2500 is needed.
