Difficult to compare. In rich Industries which are Mech oriented, Mech has good salary and vice-versa. e.g. In shipping, production, manufacturing etc. Mech gets good salary. In oil, petroleum etc. Chem as well as Mech good salary. In Elctrical and electronics companies Electronics gets good salary. I expect that Computer Engineer in Computer Industry shall get better salary than a Mech Engineer in Computer Industry. you can directly take admission in college,,,because many colleges give admission on the basis of bachelor degree!!
