The candidates those who have completed their post graduation in related subjects can appear for the exam.
Those who have acquired post graduation from any recognized university are eligible for applying UGC-NET exam. PhD will serve as an added advantage.
UGC NET is conducted mainly to recruit research assistants and professors in various streams of education.
Age Qualification:
The candidates appearing for JRF should not be above 28 years of age. The candidates appearing only for lectureship have no upper age limit. Age relaxation of 5 years will be given to SC/ST/OBC or physically disabled or women or visually handicapped.

You can do this course from anywhere in India. For becoming a CA you have to clear 4 stages.
CPT
IPCC
IPCW
AND
CA FINAL
CA it takes around 4.5 years on whole.
In other words, the process is described below:
The Procedure can be summarised as below:-
Pass CPT examination
Register/Enroll for Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC)
Complete 9 months of Study Course.
Complete 100 hours of Information Technology Training (ITT).
Complete Orientation Course (35 hours spread over one week).
