A specialization in Game Design is a useful addon afterwards. Just to state the facts, none of the famous game designers in the world today have done anything remotely linked to game design. That said, do not take it as a bar to entry, but to elucidate the fact that a broad learning is always necessary to get into a challenging career such as game design. Now let's go into the nitty gritty on Game Design. To become a Game Designer, you must get a good knowledge of 3D software as well as preproduction. Usually in Games the environment is created in 3DSMax & Character animations in Maya, Only the models are made with less polygons & more textures. So choose a program that teaches you these software. It would not matter whether the programme is called game design programme or not. Rest, to become a level designer you must have a passion for game design. Also you must have passion for playing all kinds of games including card games, dice games, sports etc. The 3rd option is Game Design (it's different from Game Designer), where you design the game itself, i.e. what happens on each level, and how things go about as well as the base story of the game. It is a stage that you reach due to your vast knowledge and passion & even exceptional technical skills cannot help you reach. This is usually the story designer. May I ask, have you ever designed a game? Finally, to do game programming you would require knowledge of programming in which usually a BTech/MCA would help. Typically game programmers usually would be knowing C#, Java, Android besides at least a Game Engine. Yes, to appear in JEE (Advanced) a diploma holder can apply in JEE Main but
his rank and score for JEE (Main) will not be declared as diploma holders cannot apply for
admission in NITs and CFTIs through JEE (Main) channel.
* The criteria of marks for diploma holders will be :If a Board gives aggregate marks considering the results of all three years of a 3-year diploma or courses of equivalent duration, then only the marks scored in the final year will be considered. Similarly, for Boards which follow a semester system, the marks scored in the final two semesters will be considered.
* One of the criteria for admission to IITs and ISM is that the candidate should satisfy at least one of these two criteria:1-He/she is within the category-wise top 20 percentile of successful candidates in his/her respective Class XII (or Diploma) Board examination.2-He/she has secured 75% (for GEN or OBC-NCL) or 70% (SC, ST or PwD) of aggregate marks in the Class XII (or equivalent) Board examination.

In order to get admission in aerospace engineering in any IIT you should get a rank less than AIR 2500.

*The Spot Round and Extra Spot Round (SRESR) is held for the vacant seats available in Government Funded Technical Institutes (NITs, IIITs and CFTIs) and all seats of Self Financed Technical Institutes (SFTIs)
*The seats available for the CFTIs and SFTIs have been listed after the upgradation at the end of Third round of reporting.
*Private colleges can take part in Spot-round and Extra spot-round only.
Eligibility for SRESR:
*Candidates who have not been allotted any seats during the previous rounds
*Candidates whose seats have been cancelled due to changes in Gender/Category/PwD Status/State of Eligibility but are eligible in spite of the changes are eligible for SRESR

I appreciate the suggestion given by Shiksha expert Shamsul Husain. Doing CFA will certainly add a lot of value to your profile as an MBA. But before anything else, you should ask yourself the reason for considering further studies over seeking a job.
If the reason is
1. You feel inadequare about your skills - Consider the job that you wish to do, identify the skill gap and then do short term vocational courses to bridge that gap. Also, seek internship opportunity (paid or unpaid) in the career of your choice.
2. You love studying - Consider doing a PHD and seek a career in academics and research.
3. For enhancement of career prospects - Register for a few industry certifications while your work for a year or 2 and then choose a bigger course that complements your profession.
