The information you have is completely incorrect. Infact, it is always recommended to apply in the 1st deadline as 100% seats are available in the first deadline. As the first deadline ends, few students are given an admission offer and the remaining seats are left for the second round which means that there are comparatively lesser seats in the 2nd deadline than in the first. Example: If there are 500 seats in the 1st round and 100 students are given admission offer in the first deadline, then 400 seats are left for the second deadline which means you would be competing with more number of applications with lesser number of
