As such there is no age limit for pursuing the course but still I would suggest you to get in touch with the institutes as different institutes have different admission criteria. Also, there are very few institutes offering a bachelors course as most of the institutes offer a masters degree. In this case you can pursue your bachelors in English, Political Science etc. and then opt for Mass Comm or Media in your PG. If you want yo can also pursue a diploma in Journalism along with your graduation so that you get an insight of the media world.

For your preparation you can start with reading newspapers and books related to current affairs and Gk, if you want you can refer to Manorama Year book which is one good book for GK and current affairs.
