After B.Sc, you have two options :
1) You may opt for M.Sc to study the research side.
2) You may pursue MBA if you wish to move your career towards management line.
You have another option with you, i.e.,
You may plan to work in private or public sector industries of various types. After gaining a valuable work experience of a year or two you may finally get a clear picture about your interest area, whether to go with M.Sc or MBA.
So, in a nutshell, you should pursue a course based on your interest and skills as it will help you to achieve your long term career goals. Think and decide wisely where do you wish to see yourself in future.

The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing M.A Philosophy is having a graduation degree in any stream.
However, many of the reputed universities demand graduation degree with Honors in Philosophy or Philosophy as one of the subjects studied in graduation from any of the recognized college/university.
Some even ask for a minimum of 45-50% marks in graduation as qualifying criteria to secure admission in this course and some also conduct an entrance examination.
In a few colleges, graduates from other streams can also apply. But still other steams will have to appear for interview on the dates declared by the Department of the respective universities.
You will be admitted only if you pass in the interview. It will be judged in the interview whether you have some background and genuine interest in Philosophy.

-One can also find job in government departments such as CPWD, defense, PWD, posts and telegraphs.
-Other sectors such as electronics, chemical, power plants, steel plants, agricultural, space research institutes, automobile and aeronautical as well as the railways, need mechanical engineers to design and maintain their machinery.
-With postgraduate degree or with additional management degree one can find work in executive and managerial positions.
-In agricultural division, mechanical engineers play a major role by establishing service centers for maintenance of pump sets, tractors, electric motors, oil engines and other agricultural equipments.
-One can work in research activities with many public/private sector research organizations.
