I would like to differentiate between the two on the following parameters-
Career prospects
B.Com- MEDIUM – since the course is general in nature. However, have a wider choice in higher studies that would get a good start to your career.
BBI MEDIUM – since the course is general in nature, you need to do a specialization in banking / insurance higher studies to get a good start to your career.
Advantages / Limitations
B.Com The choices are wider and students gets basic idea of other areas of commerce and trade, viz., hr, export-import, economics etc., However, since there is no specialization to choose, it lacks focus in any one area of study, though accounting is a major subject in the curriculum.PS: B.Com (honors) gives students a choice of specialization in its last year
BBI The study focuses on all aspects of banking and insurance subjects. However, it lacks in depth study of accounting and other areas of commerce and trade.
Which course to choose – B.Com or BBI course?
B.Com is for students who are basically good in accounting, but are also open / would like to have a wider choice of subjects for higher studies later viz., Economics, Industrial Psychology, HR, Export-Import etc.,
BBI is for students who are focused and interested only in the banking and insurance sector.

1. Investment banking

5. Entrepreneurship
One of the most thrilling career options after MBA is entrepreneurship. It is for those who love risk bearing, as your resources are at stake when you start-up your own venture. It can also be called a trial and error method where you can put all the theoretical knowledge into practice.

If you move with the right attitude and aptitude, then definitely a doctorate degree is achievable.
The difference between a PhD and FPM is similar to the distinction between an MBA and PGDM. Arguably, the number of prestigious FPM's is higher than that of PhD's.
While IIM's, XLRI, ISB and other stand-alone institutes offer a fellow programme in management (FPM), universities and the IIT's and NIT's offer a 'PhD' in management.
Do keep in mind, though, that for securing teaching positions in universities and colleges, UGC mandates that you have a PhD, while private B-schools and even the IIM's will readily appoint both an FPM and a PhD.
You may pick either as per your choice. All the IIM's and leading B-schools such as XLRI, MDI. Several IIT's and NIT's, IISc, and engineering institutes (such as Delhi Technological University, BITS Pilani, Thapar University) have a department of management studies that offers PhD programs.

A course in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is not a degree but a license course and only those institutes approved by the DGCA can impart training in this subject.
* Eligibility : A student from the Science stream with a minimum of 50% (some institutes need 60%) in class 12th is eligible for a 3 year certificate course on aircraft maintenance engineering conducted by training schools approved by the DGCA.
