Following are the tips and tricks to crack NID or any of the design college entrance exams:
1. It hardly matters if your sketching skills are average, the questions are framed to judge a candidate's creativity, imagination, visualisation skills, general awareness, etc. So developing these skills are equally important.
2. Focus over your creativity during your exam preparations.
3. With the creativity, speed equally matters. If you are creative but unable to cope up with the time limit, you will miss the questions. So it is better to practice keeping in mind the speed and accuracy.
4. Go through previous years entrance exam question paper

There are many jobs and designations which demand skills other than programming. Following are the major ones:
1. Database administrator
2. System administrator
3. Network Engineer
The above-written jobs belong to technical areas and there are many non-technical management related jobs as well.
My personal suggestion is to not to avoid programming as it is the core part of IT and one cannot grow without knowing programming languages. You may or may not work as a programmer, but it helps you understand how computer systems and applications works and hence give you better hold on it.

Hi,
There are no concepts of stream in the countries abroad. Instead, they have subject specific course and inter disciplinary approach towards degrees. So, you need to first specify or choose your preference. You can appear for country specific standardized tests like SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS, etc. Higher the score in academics and these tests, better are the chances of scholarships.
