There is an admission criteria to apply in NIBM and according to this graduation marks play an important role in the selection process. Though, this is the only admission eligibility criteria, which means that if you are fulfilling this criteria, then you may get shortlisted for GD/PI based on your CMAT/CAT score and final selection will depend on your performance in GD/PI.
