Speaking generally, however, if you are applying for an undergraduate degree, you will be asked to show that you have completed your secondary education to a standard that is in line with the required grades (e. g. your GPA, A-level grades or equivalent) for the programme your applying to. If you have an international qualification and are unsure whether this is accepted, you should contact the admissions department of the university. For non-native English speakers wanting to study in English-speaking countries, it is also highly likely that you'll need to provide proof of your English-language proficiency by taking an English-language test such as TOEFL or IELTS. Similar tests may be required for those studying in other languages.

Refer to basic English books, browse through the topics mentioned above and try attempting exercises related to each topic. Take some online tests. There are many English tests available online that will help you judge where you stand
Part - B - General Knowledge & Teaching Aptitude
Preparation tips:
For General Knowledge, you can start following the daily news on television and by regularly reading the newspaper. You can refer to different General Knowledge books. Part- C
The syllabus will be of graduation level for subjects - Mathematics, Physical Sciences (Physics and Chemistry), Biological Sciences (Botany and Zoology), Social Studies (Geography, History, Civics and Economics). For English, the syllabus will be of graduation level and will also include topics like Language functions, Elements of Phonetics, Grammar, Phrasal Verbs (idioms), Writing skills, Study skills and Reference skills. Understand the syllabus properly and start preparing accordingly
Make a routine and stick to it, such that you are able to prepare for all the topics
Refer to past question papers and try to solve them as much as possible. This way you will know what to expect in the exam.
