Hello yogesh, we have few things in common.
1) I was born in Thane west. Wartak nagar. But I have done academic from Kolkata.
2) I have also done B.Sc(IT)
Don't take any admission in a center if the center is providing degree from PTU. You won't get a good job. Look at BRAINWARE. Now a days it is kind of suffering. Other than that will be ok. But I recommend you to go for Kuvempu Universiity degree. As far as I know only one institute provides this and that is NIIT. I also did it from NIIT. as you are from commerce try to go for BSIM track. this will avail two things
1) Few things are a little similar in MBA, so if you are planning for that then it will be great.
2) This will enhance the chances of becoming HR in companies.
Other than that there are two more tracks
1) Software engineering.(I had this)
2) Infrastructure Management(for hardware & networking interest)
You do one thing you join B.Sc.IT along with GNIIT, you will get 1 year payed internship opportunity. Niit has a job fair facility. You visit to your nearest center and ask things. and also about job fair. You won't be disappointed. Many people say way too many things. But stick with your plan and aim like I did. If you can do well believe me after completing you will realize why i suggested you to go for B.SC(IT) with GNIIT. and if you can study in kolkata then I can arrange it in KOLKATA(Cheaper then mumbai). Hi Gulshan first I will congratulate you on getting such a good percentage. Please celebrate with your close friends and family. Now, coming back to the topic of choosing your subjects for 11th class make one thing very clear to yourself that you will study the subject which you choose or like not your parents. As you are passionate about studying commerce stick to it. You will have to make some efforts to convince your parents to allow you to take commerce in 11th class. You will have to make them understand that you will be getting good career options in commerce and you can do courses like Bcom, BBA, CA, CS, CFA, MBA etc. Make your parents sit them with you online and google around the courses I have just mentioned. It will be a big impact on them. Secondly, make them talk to your teachers in school about commerce as a career option. If still they are not convinced then approach a reputed career counselor in your city and meet him/her along with your parents. Also, talk to your cousins and relatives whom you trust and believe that they can help you in getting them convinced. I will conclude by saying that owing to family and peer pressure do not opt for medical if you feel you are good at commerce.
