B.Sc agriculture is a good course and if you want to make your career in private sector then I suggest you to go for Chandigarh University although LPU is also good but Chandigarh University is best private University in Punjab. This University has good academics and you can easily prepare govt. exams like UPSC, FCI. Their placement record is also goodStudents got placed in companies like IBM, Wipro, Amazon etc.

Whether subjects already cleared from any other Boars/IOS are allowed tot be transferred and credited at the NIOS Secondary/Sr. Secondary Courses?
NIOS provides the facility of "Transfer of Credit" to a maximum of 4 subjects from
NIOS(Old Registration)if passed in 1995 or later and to a maximum of 2 subjects for CBSE /CICSE /UP Board of Secondary Education/ Uttranchal Board of Examination / State Open Schools
if passed in 2000 orlater, provided these subjects are also available in NIOS programme :')))

Beside this keep track of surrounding universities as well so that if you couldnt able to get admission the listed above colleges at least you have some immediate second options such as Lovely Professional University, GNDU, jaypee university.

I would never recommend you to take admission for any technical program through distance education as that might not be recognized by AICTE. Its better if you do M.Tech in regular from some reputed university to start a good career of your life. Check for IP university Delhi, MIT pune, Lovely professional University, BITS pilai.

It might be hard to get admission there, but you have other good options as Chandigarh engineering college,
