Both the colleges have equally good placement opportunities. SVC has a very dedicated placement cell. Package records have been very good in the year 2017-18 with the highest being 16 LPA.

Hey Mabhi, Yes there is criteria for some companies to have 60% throughout in academics. But some companies ask for 60% in post graduation only.
So you will be eligible for those companies.

If you go for M.Tech through entrance test and a valid GATE score, you will get stipend also. In m.tech you can improve your knowledge and research abilities in the field of engineering. However MBA is a management program and differences in the subject but many engineering graduate take MBA and achieved great success. Important thing is that the management school from where you do your MBA should be premium institutes.
