1. To become a corporate lawyer, you need to get a degree in law by taking up a three year Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree course after completing your higher secondary education (Class 12) or by pursuing the three-year B.A. LL.B after obtaining a bachelor's degree.
2. If you go abroad to pursue the course, you'll have to sit for an exam held by The Bar Council of India. Only after you clear it, you'll be allowed to practice.
For admission into a law school in India, you need to take an entrance exam called the Common Law Admission Test. You can plan accordingly. For details, visit http://www.clat.ac.in
3. You must have strong analytic skills, good interpersonal skills and a keen understanding of the business environment in order to successfully settle as a Corporate Lawyer.
4. After obtaining degree, you can practice as a lawyer. To specialize in corporate law, it may be a good idea to pursue a post-graduate law degree or diploma courses in corporate or business-related law.
5. You can join either the Bar Council of India or a local or state bar council by submitting an application.
6. Broadly speaking, corporate lawyers advise corporations on their legal rights and obligations.
7. Multi-crore suits have changed the very complexion of the game, making corporate law a popular and lucrative career option. And with foreign law firms moving into India, salaries have begun to shoot upwards.
To boost your prospects further, you could even plumb for an additional qualification, e.g., Company Secretaryship or a degree in HR or Industrial Relations with a working knowledge of labor laws depending on the field you wish to specialize in.

You have not mentioned two things: one the subjects in which you have a backlog and what area of work you are interested to pursue.
Depending on the above - I will be able to guide you.
For example: You are good at accounting and finance but have not done well in Law, then you can still add some very strong certification in finance, as the field has lot of opportunities. Once you clear your papers, you might be able to join employment.
If not the above, you can look at courses that are related to management - for example - Retail certifications as this is another sector that will in the coming years offer lot of potential employment.
Choose something based on either your interest or the sector that you plan to work in, as these are important aspects that you should be looking out for.
Remember, all of us learnt our first job related skills at work place only. So learning practical things about work place is always useful. If it is possible, take up internship / volunteer experience as that will also come in handy.
